Becovic Companies is a family office and vertically integrated owner-operator of luxury and historic apartment communities in Indiana and Florida, with its own development, supply, hospitality and aviation companies supporting the business.
Five Decades of Ownership and Operation
For more than fifty years, the Becovic family has built its business on a belief that has never wavered: the people who own a community should be the ones who care for it. What began in 1973 has grown, generation by generation, into a portfolio of luxury and historic apartment communities across Indiana and Florida, from garden-style neighborhoods outside Indianapolis to restored landmark towers in Downtown Jacksonville. The family has developed some communities from the ground up; others it has acquired and carefully brought back to life. Every one is managed by Becovic’s own people, guided by the same standard the family set from the very beginning.
Each decade of ownership has brought another part of the work in-house. In 1999, when outside distributors couldn’t keep pace with Becovic’s unit turns, the family founded Signature Supply. As the portfolio grew, Becovic Development took on new construction and historic restoration. Becovic Hospitality followed to bring life to the ground floors of the Jacksonville towers, and Mach Point Aviation, an FAA Part 135 certified air carrier, completes the group. Five decades on, the principle is unchanged: own it, run it, and do the work well.
Corporate Structure
Becovic Companies owns every company below. Becovic Management Group runs the apartments from its headquarters in Fishers, Indiana. Development, hospitality, Signature Supply, aviation and Becovic Sports report to the corporate headquarters on North Laura Street in Jacksonville. Becovic Cares is the volunteer and giving program the six companies share.

Three Landmarks, One Vision
The Marble Bank, the Bisbee Building and the Florida Life Building rose from the ashes of the Great Fire of 1901, symbols of a city determined to rebuild. For decades, these three landmarks have stood empty at the corner of Laura and Forsyth, waiting for the right steward. In August 2026, Becovic acquired all three, continuing its commitment to Downtown Jacksonville’s historic core. The family plans to bring them back to life with a hotel, restaurants and residences, returning the Trio to the center of downtown life.
