One Family, Six Companies

Becovic Companies is a vertically integrated owner-operator of luxury and historic apartment communities across Indiana and Florida. The family owns every company in its portfolio, and together those companies cover each stage of the business: building and restoring properties, supplying their finishes, managing them day to day, and bringing hospitality to their ground floors. Our integrated businesses allow us to maintain direct oversight, consistent standards, and accountability throughout every stage of ownership and operation.

It began with Becovic Management Group in 1973, the foundation of the family’s business and still the heart of it today. From its headquarters in Fishers, Indiana, Becovic Management oversees the apartment portfolio, along with the accounting, training and operational teams that support it. In 1999, the family founded Signature Supply so its crews would never wait on an outside distributor, and today it supplies cabinetry, countertops and fixtures to Becovic communities and to owners across the multifamily industry. Becovic Development builds new Class A communities and gives historic buildings a second life, and when each project is complete, it passes directly into the care of Becovic Management.

As the portfolio expanded into Downtown Jacksonville, so did the company’s reach. Becovic Hospitality brings food, drink and, in time, lodging into the family’s historic towers, beginning with 1926 Coffee Co. at The Residences at Barnett. Mach Point Aviation, an FAA Part 135 certified air carrier, provides private charter and aircraft management. Becovic Cares unites employees from every company in volunteer and charitable work across both states. Guiding them all is the corporate headquarters on the twenty-ninth floor of 50 N Laura Street, a block from the landmarks Becovic is bringing back to life.

Our history

Where It All Began

Mr. and Mrs. Becovic came from Montenegro and started buying apartment buildings in Chicago in 1968.

Fifty-eight years later, Becovic bought the Laura Street Trio on the corner of Laura and Forsyth in Downtown Jacksonville. The company history covers the years in between, starting with the first Chicago buildings.

01

Quality

Quality begins with people. It lives in the talent and character of the teams Becovic brings together, in the details residents notice years later, and in the care that keeps every building as strong as the day it was finished.

02

Service

Every interaction is a chance to earn trust. Whether it’s a resident at home or an owner in the air, the people Becovic serves receive the attention, responsiveness and respect they deserve.

03

Integrity

A promise is only as strong as the work that follows it. Becovic does what it says, says what it means, and stands behind both.

04

Community

Becovic doesn’t pass through a city; it puts down roots. The family invests in the places it calls home and gives back to the neighborhoods that make them worth living in.

05

Relationships

The business was built one handshake at a time. Partnerships formed decades ago still shape the opportunities of today, because trust, once earned, is never taken for granted.

06

Reputation

A family name is a promise passed down through generations. Every company that carries it, and every person who represents it, holds that promise in trust for the next.

Service projects in both states

Becovic Cares organizes the volunteer work in Indiana and Florida: food bank shifts, donation drives, charity walks and company-wide volunteer days.

Staff at each community pick the causes their neighborhood needs, and the corporate office pays for them.
