The restored lobby entrance at The Carling

Built 1926 as the Roosevelt Hotel

The Carling opened in 1926 as the Roosevelt Hotel and now holds 100 apartments in the Downtown Jacksonville core. Residents have a rooftop terrace, a fitness center and a lounge.

Vestcor, which converted the building, kept the ground floor’s proportions and restored the coffered ceiling, the mezzanine and the marble staircase.
